The gospel shapes every aspect of our lives, including the way we understand our finances and possessions.

Christians are called to live counter-culturally, giving sacrificially and joyfully, because God has given everything for us (2 Cor. 8.9, Acts 4:34-35). Therefore, we encourage those who follow Jesus to give as an act of faithful worship, supporting the needs of our church and our community.

Special Gifts

Ukraine - During the season of lent we, as a church, are practicing a spiritual discipline known as almsgiving. Almsgiving calls us to give above our tithes and regular offerings to support the lost, lonely, suffering, and oppressed of our time. Our 2022 almsgiving will go to the Anglican Relief and Development Fund to support the ongoing work, ministry, support, and redevelopment of lives, homes, and businesses of the people of Ukraine. Anchor Fund - As a part of the Anglican Diocese of “Christ Our Hope” we commit to supporting the work of the broader Anglican church through our diocesan initiatives by giving to the anchor fund and engaging in the kingdom building efforts launched throughout the diocese including here at St. John’s. The anchor fund works towards building greater capacity for Kingdom mission. The Lord has blessed our dicoese with the people, passion, and vision for significant kingdom mission beyond our work to plant, equip, and multiply gospel-centered Anglican churches. With your help, we can expand mission in new areas to reach new people with the gospel.
