*Application Architect – *Salary 130 to 135K plus 10% bonus. Location just outside of Philly (Villanova area).

Our client, a Fortune 250 Financial Services firm, is building their Digital/ Mobile domain and actively recruiting to fill a key role for an Application Architect. You’ll spearhead the design/ development of frameworks and standards for the Digital Domain as well as provide macro and micro-architecture for all proposed design/ development efforts.

Keys to this role are:
·Web Portal Architecture or Digital Content Management background.
·Still wringing Java code, web services 20-30% of the time.
·Great communicator.
Will work closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure all efforts align with Enterprise Reference Architecture, develop estimates and proposals for new projects, deliver POC’s, provide hands-on development for the more complex reusable components as well as provide Level 4 support.

·3-5 years of proven Application Architecture background
·Strong technical background in Java/J2EE, Restful, JSON, Oracle
·Agnostic approach to architectural solutions, platforms, and tools
·Exceptional Communication and presentation skills
·Proven track record influencing technical direction and peers
·Ability to present and engage senior Business and IT leadership
·Track record of successful execution.

·Portal architecture or development

·5 to 7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture (specifically experience that pertains to this position)
·Deep Retirement Services domain experience required
·Proven ability to engage with Business leaders to ascertain business goals/ objectives and translate to technology strategy/ road maps to align with the goals.
·Extremely knowledgeable of complex enterprise systems, applications + technologies (JEE/ SOA based architecture, Data Analytics +/or Mobile
·Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
·Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relations with collaborative approaches to influence technical direction and decisions
·Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution
·Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists
·Strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
·Bachelor’s Degree
